Okonjima is a beautiful lodge and also home to the non – profit organisation the AfriCat Foundation, which takes care of the conservation of Namibia's large carnivores, leopards and especially cheetahs.
Includes drives to view and track the cheetahs and learn about the AfriCat work. Lapa (gathering place), swimming pool and curio shop. There is the opportunity to sit in a night hide which is visited by numerous nocturnal animals.
Leisure facilities include fully equipped spa with aroma baths, swimming pool, game drives to Etosha* guided walks*, quad biking*, sundowners*, horse riding*, day and night game drives in Epacha Game Reserve* There is a restaurant and bar. *Various charges payable locally.
6 double en suite rooms with views overlooking the garden and open-fire entertainment area. There is a three quarter bed plus double bed in each en suite room, a safe and roof fan. Standard rooms can accommodate up to 2 adults. Also available are bush and mountain view rooms (4 adults) with two double beds and a fridge.
